Zoe Lucia Lüthi is a research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) in Potsdam. She holds a PhD from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in Beijing and an MSc in climate sciences from the University of Bern, Switzerland. Her research follows natural and environmental science, focusing on air pollution in China and the Himalayan region. Her current IASS project explores the potential of mindfulness and meditation as an approach for inner transformation that can encourage more sustainable behavior in the Anthropocene. She has worked as a climate consultant in Nepal and in Bhutan for the International Center for Integrated Mountain Development.
