Re-establishing a sturgeon population in the Danube by finding a common baseline

Working closely with sterlet, a species of sturgeon, Reflections of the Past investigates the ties between these living dinosaurs and healthy ecosystems. Sound is used to monitor and “listen” in on the species in an attempt to save it from extinction, while the reciprocal care relationship that develops prompts us to tune in and reconsider the place of humans in the world.
