Fourteenth-century anatomical drawing of the human nervous system (ca. 1390) that forms part of a body of research in November 2019 into the connection between noise and toxicity in the Lower Mississippi River petrochemical corridor, also known as “Cancer Alley.” The research claims the complexity of the anatomical body as a whole auditory, endocrinological and sensing system.
